Andrew,
Words cannot described how touched I was by your film. I happened upon it while waiting for American Idol's season opener to start, but I got hooked and there was no way I was going to leave your film. My mother, also a "Dotty", passed away recently in a nursing home. That was hard to watch but necessary. Andrew, I strongly believe that there is a higher power that guides our paths, yours and mine. You were led to produce this poignant piece that helped me through the grieving process. And as a baby boomer (today's my 58th birthday), I am so thankful that there are wonderful young people, caring people, like yourself out there who want to bring the plight of the growing number of elderly folks to the forefront. Like you, I've always believed since my teenage years that our elderly are treasure troves. As a society we unfortunately ignore what they have to offer, looking instead to the opinions and politics of whichever celebrities can get the most press coverage. Your film and others like it can change that. You have made and will continue to make a difference. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I will anxiously await ANYTHING you and friends will produce in the future.
God bless you.
