European Premiere

I am traveling to Amsterdam today as Room 335 will be having its European Premiere. I have never been but the festival had an advance screening of the film a few weeks back so there are a few reviews on Google from Dutch newspapers--problem being that they are in Dutch so I have no idea if they're good or bad reviews.

Regardless, check out the website

And the screening times:

24-11-2006, 18:45, Calypso
26-11-2006, 16:00, City 6 (Doc U!)
29-11-2006, 13:15, City 4 (industry screening)
30-11-2006, 10:45, Cinerama 1

Hello Andrew, I interviewed you yesterday (Dutch television) and I can assure you that all the reviews were positive. Everybody loved "Room 335".
Hope you enjoy your stay in Amsterdam and good luck with future projects.
Jos (from Antwerp/ Belgium)

Hi Andrew,

I was today at the IDFA screening of your doc in Amsterdam, together with a good friend, a geriatric doctor. Both of us loved it and couldn't stop talking it after we left the theatre. So we went to the Balie (across the theatre) to drink wine and break down all that stuff that's floating around after you see something that really moves you.

My friend was loved your integrity in dealing with the subject -something she knows so well- and by the common sense, care but also boldness in showing what you showed, in the way you showed it . I was also very touched, and I found the film provoking and inspiring. It's great to meet other filmmakers that just make things they care for happen.

We're both thinking of working together (I'm a screenwriter) in a future project also with elderly people. And the great thing is that you're also part of it. So thanks lots for that.

Enjoy Amsterdam. Keep on doing things.
