Dry Land
When you say hi to someone in NYC they look at you like your crazy. Hi? Hi, what? In Phoenix you can't walk a few steps without running into smiling faces. Perhaps it is the weather, maybe the festival which has taken over the city... It is incredible how nice everyone is and how well the festival treats its filmmakers. The film played today in the morning and the turn out wasn't bad. I mean a Friday at 9:30AM? Who would come? Well, people were there--with popcorn and everything. Saturday and Sunday we have some great screening times (3:15 and 5:45) so I will report back soon.
And keep emailing Bill!!
As I write this, Jonah is in San Fernando, California presenting the film to (hopefully) a packed audience. Wish him luck since he gets nervous in front of large crowds....

I was one of those early birds at the Friday show. I'd like to congratulate you on putting together a great film. It was truly touching and very inspiring. Maybe that was me with the popcorn?

Hi Andrew! I saw your film at the Phoenix Film Festival over the weekend and I just wanted to tell you how wonderful I thought it was. I absolutely loved it. You have an amazing future as a filmmaker. Best of luck in the future.

I am 63 yrs old and I went to the film festival with my 40 yr.old son. We just loved the film and the people in it. Especially the woman who is 95 or 96. She was so funny
and full of life. I also
liked Bill and thought it was so nice of him to buy
candy every day for the others. The message I got
from this film was that all
ages can benefit from one
another. Thanks.
